Help answer the question about Breast Feeding

When is a good age to stop breast feeding?
I am not asking for myself. I recently saw this woman breast feeding her child. The child had to be at least 2 or 3 years old. I was taken aback a little. The kid could speak full sentences and this lady kept popping out her boob to feed him.

So my question is, when is a good age to stop breast feeding?

Was that kid too old to still be breast feeding? Or am I just being weird.
