I ended up pumping breast milk into bottles for 1st daughter instead. I did have ehr latch on the night she was born but it ticked off the nurse that she was holding my hair, she said your hairs in the way put your hair up, she let go and I gave up breastfeeding. With son he actually breast fed from the inverted nipple! With 3rd baby I bottle fed her and I put my breast into her mouth when she demanded to eat and she latched and suckled.

Because the mammary glands are still producing milk but the milk isn't being released. Just like a cow that needs to be milked.

In mythology, some men are given this ability. I don't know why.
All of these stories many stem from the fact that some babies, both male and female, leak a milk-like substance for a day or so after birth. This is caused by the excess estrogen in the mother.
Men do have all the same basic parts. Testosterone stops the development of the rest of what they need, like the expansion of the glands. A man, in theory, would need to stop producing testosterone and have lots of estrogen and the extra hormones produced during pregnancy to start to breast feed.
There have only been a very few cases of men who can lactate in all of history but I could only find one story.

Lois is voiced by Alex Borstien who is also head writer of the show. She was on mad tv and her most famous charactor was Ms. Swann. Mila Kunis took over in season two. Yes it is a little ironic that the chubby short women vovies Lois, and the smoking hot Mila voiced ugly meg

Vegans breast feed their children; just as cows' milk is intended for their young, so human milk is intended for human young.

The only vegan mother I've ever known who didn't breast feed was, to her regret, unable to.

People are vegan to minimise their contribution to animal suffering and exploitation. There is no exploitation involved in a mother voluntarily giving her baby the food that is intended for it.

And there is no reason to suppose that a breast fed baby will develop a taste for cow's milk.

The Subway diet must have got a little repetitive for a vegan, hmmm?
============

Edit* Sara W, in what way does someone (who I suspect isn't vegan) asking whether vegans breastfeed provide proof that a vegan lifestyle isn't natural?

tell her that he's too old to be breast fed now, and that she makes other people uncomfortable when she does it in public. explain to her that she will not be able to come to your son's party because she will scare the other guests away…something like that i guess…it's a predicament.

@ifuckedyourbitchs You are SO immature. This video wasn’t made to be “hot”, it was made to give tips on breastfeeding.

I think that yes, a child should be fed, but keep it covered. There are other children and even adults who don't need to or don't want to see that. If there is an area that they can go to and do it privately then they should go there. We don't just squat down and pee wherever we want. And, if they're covering it up it isn't so bad either. But, when a lady lifts her shirt up in the middle of a restaurant or store without even trying to be discreet or respectful about it, it is annoying.

see 1:41 the baby’s pointing the middle finger ….

Not a terrible video. Some good tips on positioning, however, scheduled feeding is generally not good advice for a new mother. Instead, try breastfeeding as often as baby needs. This way baby has more chance to thrive based on his/her individual needs. I also recommend contacting La Leche League International LLLi . org if you have concerns or need other advice.
